Do you know what DIY eyelash extensions are? It’s a new product for styling eyelashes that’s winning the hearts of anyone who loves an amazing lash look. I decided to test several DIY cluster lash kits from well-known brands and create my own ranking. I hope my experiences will help you choose the perfect cluster lashes for DIY lash extensions at home.
How did I create my ranking of DIY lash extension kits?
While testing these DIY lash extension kits, I focused on several aspects, such as the number of cluster lashes in the kit, differences between brands, and ease of application. My opinions are subjective and based on my personal preferences – I was looking for a kit that would enhance my natural lashes without looking fake. I prefer subtle and natural makeup, so these qualities were my top priorities.
A key factor in creating the ranking was also the speed of application. I didn’t want to spend more than a few minutes applying the cluster lashes. My ranking includes five ready-made DIY lash extension kits. Before purchasing them, I checked customer reviews thoroughly, most of which were positive. My own experiences with most of these kits were also good, which is why I can confidently recommend a few of them.
What lash extension kits did I test and what do I think about them? Read on to find out more!
1. Nanolash DIY Eyelash Extensions Starter Kit
The Nanolash DIY Eyelash Extensions Starter Kit took the top spot in my ranking. As someone who has previously used Nanolash products, I was really excited to test this kit.
The set includes 36 cluster lashes in three lengths: 10 mm, 12 mm, and 14 mm, which is perfect if you want a variety of styling options. Additionally, the cluster lashes are available in eight different styles, allowing for a wide range of custom looks. The lashes are available in both black or brown, making it ideal for women with lighter features to enhance their gaze subtly.
The application of these cluster lashes was incredibly easy and hassle-free. The included applicator enabled precise cluster lash placement, and the glue had just the right consistency, making the entire process take only 10 minutes. This is a huge plus for anyone who values quick and effective solutions. The cluster lashes stayed on my eyelids for 7 days, which I found really impressive.
From the moment I opened the kit, it was clear that this is a high-quality product. The cluster lashes were soft and natural-looking, adding a beautiful charm to my eyes. The bonder and sealer kept the lashes securely in place, and the remover enabled easy removal without damaging my natural lashes. The whole kit is designed for comfort, making the application a pure pleasure.
Testing various DIY lash extension kits, I noticed that not all of them were as easy to use and effective. The Nanolash DIY Eyelash Extensions Starter Kit stood out for its simple application and long-lasting results. My lashes looked beautiful all week, boosting my confidence and leaving me extremely happy with my look.
2. KISS Falscara Starter Kit
After testing the Nanolash kit, I decided to try the KISS Falscara Starter Kit – a brand I’m familiar with and appreciate for its quality products. I was surprised to find that the set only includes 10 cluster lashes, which unfortunately meant I used them all for just one lash look. In this regard, Nanolash comes out on top, as their cluster lashes last much longer.
The Kiss kit includes BOND, SEAL, and an applicator, but the lack of a remover for taking off the lashes is a big downside for me. However, applying these cluster lashes was smooth – the clusters easily adhered to my natural lashes well, making the process fast and convenient.
Despite the lack of a remover, the Falscara Starter Kit has its advantages. The softness and natural look of the cluster lashes resulted in a satisfying final effect. The lash clusters stayed on my lashes all day, and the application process was simple.
3. Lilac St Intro Starter Kit
In third place is the Lilac St Intro Starter Kit – a kit that impressed me as it includes 30 lash clusters in three different lengths: 10 mm, 12 mm, and 14 mm. Additionally, the kit includes Lilac Lash Glue in Clear, Crystal Coat, and the Lilac Lash Applicator, making it a nearly complete DIY lash extensions kit for home use.
What caught my attention immediately was the large number of cluster lashes. This kit enables multiple applications, which is invaluable. The lash clusters are soft and delicate. They come on a thin strip that becomes almost invisible after the application, ensuring a natural look. The final result is both subtle and bold, and the lashes lasted for a full five days, reflecting their high quality and durability. Unfortunately, the Lilac St Intro Starter Kit doesn’t include a remover, which is a downside, as the lack of this product can make it harder to remove the cluster lashes after use.
4. Lashify Starter Kit
Lashify is known as a luxury brand, with products often priced higher than average, which caused mixed emotions before testing the kit. However, my curiosity won, so I decided to check whether the high price is justified by equally high quality. Lashify cluster lashes made a strong impression on me right away – the lashes are soft, and I loved their elegant look both in the packaging and on my eyelids. The application process was fast and easy, which is a definite plus of this kit. Although the kit only contains 10 cluster lashes, which was enough for one full lash look, their durability and quality were satisfactory. The cluster lashes stayed on my eyes for five days, and their natural appearance and wearing comfort deserve high praise.
However, I can’t ignore the fact that the limited number of cluster lashes in the kit makes the price seem quite high. While the quality is excellent, the value for money ratio may be discouraging.
5. Glamnetic Lash Extension Kit
Testing the Glamnetic Lash Extension Kit, I immediately noticed its complete contents – lash clusters, essential products like a bonder and sealer, an applicator, and a remover. This complete set pleasantly surprised me right from the start. Additionally, Glamnetic provides various lash styles, aenabling styling customization to suit your preferences and occasions.
Unfortunately, during the test, I quickly discovered that the cluster lashes didn’t look as natural as I’d hoped. This wasn’t just my opinion – other users also pointed this out in their reviews. The cluster lashes didn’t mimic natural lashes well, making it hard to achieve a satisfactory makeup result. Nonetheless, the application process was quick and smooth, which is a definite advantage of this kit.
Although the manufacturer promises that the lashes will stay on for up to five days, I decided to remove them earlier. The not so natural look made me feel uncomfortable.

I spent a lot of time testing five different DIY lash extension kits, but this allowed me to share my honest feedback about the available products. I analyzed each kit thoroughly in terms of quality, durability, and value, and I hope this will make it easier for you to choose the best option for yourself.
Of all the tested products, the Nanolash DIY Eyelash Extensions Starter Kit clearly stands out with the best price-to-quality ratio.
