My Must-Have Skincare Products: Best Soothing Face Serums List

I’m sure you already know that a face serum is one of my absolute essentials. I can’t imagine my day without putting it on my face. And since my skin happens to be demanding and irritation-prone, I have to be careful with what I apply to it. That’s why I went through quite a number of face serums, including those designed to relieve irritation and remove redness. Now, after almost a year of running my test, I’m going to review four soothing, anti-redness face serums just to help you pick the right product for yourself. Some of the brands you’ll see in a moment are pretty popular, others may be a bit niche. But before that, let me explain to you one crucial issue, which is…

Why is it important to use a face serum?

From what I’ve noticed, some of you don’t see the point in incorporating a face serum to their daily skin ritual. I’m also more than certain that some of you use only face creams, sometimes even very expensive ones. It appears, however, that even the most exclusive and high-end creams aren’t able to deliver the same effects as a face serum does. Actually, a face cream delivers better results when paired with a quality face serum – seriously!

Additionally, a face serum’s formula is short and made up almost only of active substances and nutrients. And thanks to such a formula, the product is able to penetrate through the skin easily, reaching deepest skin layers to leave you with a better-looking complexion. As you can see, a face serum:

first of all – helps a face cream works better
second of all – repairs skin from within, which results in long-lasting skin improvement

Let’s move on now to choosing the right product. Naturally, there are more and more face serums designed for irritation-prone skin, which makes the decision harder. They differ among one another with the formula, effects, size and price. Below you’re going to find only the best (in my opinion, OFC) face serums that will soothe your skin and brighten facial redness.

Best Soothing Face Serums List

NANOIL Anti-Redness Face Serum

NANOIL Anti-Redness Face Serum

I’ve known Nanoil for some time now and I like their products. When I saw that they had introduced face serums to their regular offer, I knew I had to give them a shot, and that’s why I ordered Anti-Redness Face Serum. The first time I put it on my skin, I knew it was it. Now I use the serum twice a day. Why so often? Because it’s big (1.69 fl oz) and it doesn’t spoil my makeup. After analyzing the formula, I understood what makes this serum so effective. It contains a couple of nature-derived substances that work wonders for redness-prone complexion. Horse chestnut extract, for example, aims at fixing blood vessels by sealing their walls from the inside. This is basically how the serum deals with facial redness.

Over time, my skin tone was even and the skin’s resistance to assessors improved. Another amazing ingredient is linden extract. Its main task is to bring immediate relief to triggered skin. And punarnava extract promotes a better-looking complexion. To me, this product is a good value for money so if you think you may want to try in on your skin, I suggest ordering it from the official store, which is nanoil.co.uk

COSRX Pure Fit Cica Serum

Cosrx is another brand that I like and value for their quality beauty products. Pure Fit Cica Serum wasn’t any different, and by saying that I mean that it didn’t disappoint me at all. It didn’t cause any reaction whatsoever but only brought a soothing sensation, which felt incredible every time I put it on my irritated face. This superb effect is owed to Asiatic pennywort extract that is known for reducing all types of inflammation. From what I know, it also makes the walls of blood vessels stronger. If you’re looking for a moisturizer then I believe you’ll like Pure Fir Cica Serum. Oh, and it also stimulates collagen synthesis, leaving your skin looking younger and less saggy. As you can see, this face serum is another multi-tasking skincare product.

There is just one thing I need to mention. Sometimes, and I don’t know why, it made my skin feel sticky. Perhaps I hadn’t cleaned it properly before the application. The size is pretty standard and it has 1 fl. oz., and the price is okay.

DIOR Capture Youth Redness Soother

Here is something for those of you who adore high-end cosmetics – a serum that belongs to one of the most luxurious brands in the world, the Dior. Even though you need to spend a pretty penny on this blueish serum, it’s pretty good. So if you can afford it, I think you will be satisfied with the results it delivers. One of the reasons proving my point is the speed at which the skin absorbs the serum – it takes literally a few seconds tops! Right after application, I follow Capture Youth Redness Soother with Capture Youth cream, which is also pretty costly. Both products make my skin feel relaxed. After a week or two, facial redness disappeared and the skin tone was evened out.

I also noticed that my skin was less reactive. Lastly, a huge plus for the formula made almost entirely from the ingredients of natural origin.

LA ROCHE POSAY Rosaliac AR Intense

Is there anyone who doesn’t know what La Roche Posay is? I think there isn’t. At the beginning let me tell you that this is another “bigger” product – the serum has 1.40 fl. oz. and its price is fair. La Roche Posay cosmetics are widely available so you can find them in regular stores, pharmacies and online. What may be surprising for you is the gel texture. I need to admit honestly that at first I wasn’t happy about that but it didn’t take me long to change my mind. After all, Rosaliac AR Intense absorbs fast and completely, so you can apply makeup quickly after. When it comes to the effects, they are okay. Thermal water brings immediate relief. I also felt my skin being moisturized and nourished. But nothing changed much in terms of facial redness. Some users said that it took almost a month for Rosaliac AR Intense to deal with spider veins, and it eventually did. This means that you need to be patient with this one.

That’s basically everything I wanted to share with you today. I fervently hope that now, after reading this post, you’re able to choose the soothing serum that will help you get rid of facial redness and leave your skin relaxed.
